Leather Forum Representatives, Voting, and Officers

Each Organization Member selects a primary and an alternate representative to the Leather Forum, who attend and vote on behalf of their organization at Leather Forum meetings. Each organization gets two votes.

Individual Members are each entitled to one vote.

The Leather Forum has three elected officers (President, Treasurer, and Secretary), who are elected from among the members for a one year term. One additional officer, The Webmaster, is appointed by the President from among the members for a one year term.

The Leather Forum assesses no dues, fines, or levies upon its membership. No officer or member of the Leather Forum is compensated for any time or work donated to the Leather Forum.

Leather Forum Meetings

The Leather Forum has a business meeting on the third Thursday of each month (except December) at 8:00 PM in San Francisco. Please check this SF Leather Calendar to confirm the date and location. All Leather Forum meetings are open to the general public.

The Leather Forum Holiday Party

Besides producing the SF Leather Calendar, the Leather Forum plans and produces an annual Holiday Party in December to recognize and show appreciation to the people who have supported the leather community during the year.

Originally an annual party was hosted by the First Ladies of the clubs in the Forum, and later the party was hosted by the presidents of the clubs in the Forum and then by the member clubs of the Forum. It is now hosted by the Leather Forum. Funds raised during the year by the Leather Forum go primarily to produce this Holiday Party.

At the annual Holiday Party printed copies of the SF Leather Calendar for the following year are made available; however, this printed version soon becomes obsolete as additions and changes are made continually to the online SF Leather Calendar.

The Inter-Club Fund The ICF

The Inter-Club Fund of San Francisco (or ICF) is a separate, non-profit organization with a different purpose: It issues grants to individuals in financial distress in the leather/motorcycle community and promotes motorcycle safety. It holds an annual Motorcycle Awards Show in February to recognize outstanding performances by individuals and organizations in the prior year. The Awards Show is a major fund-raiser for the ICF.

Some of the same organizations are members of both the ICF and the Leather Forum. Please see the ICF Web Site for more information about the ICF.
